U-ACT (Ubuntu Academy Coaching Training CIC) is a Lived Experience Recovery Organisation (LERO) based in London, United Kingdom. Founded by David Collins, U-ACT operates from the London Recovery Coaching Campus in Battersea, guided by the African philosophy of Ubuntu. Since 2015, U-ACT has trained, mentored and supported individuals with lived experience of addiction and recovery to move into leadership through systemic coaching and capacity development. The organisation delivers CPD-certified and ISO17024-compliant Certified Professional Recovery Coach (CPRC) training, peer recovery specialist programmes, and LERO community of practice sessions.
