SUIT (Service User Involvement Team) is a multi-award-winning Lived Experience Recovery Organisation (LERO) based in Wolverhampton, operating as a project of Wolverhampton Voluntary and Community Action (WVCA). Established in 2007, SUIT provides peer-led advocacy and support for adults with drug and alcohol addiction. Services include group work sessions, a service user council, activity sessions, buddy support, mentoring, one-to-one support, outreach and home visits, IT access, debt advice, job search, CV writing, and education and training signposting. SUIT was recognised as a European model of good practice by the Street Support Project (EU) in 2019 and by BeTRAD EU.
