The EDGE Recovery Café is a social enterprise and community recovery hub located at 351 Mill Road on the Brookfields Hospital site in Cambridge. The café provides a welcoming space for people recovering from substance misuse and those with mental health challenges, offering recovery support groups, therapeutic activities, volunteering opportunities, and a community fridge. The recovery hub manager post is part-funded through Change Grow Live, the Cambridgeshire County Council-commissioned substance misuse service. Activities include weekly computer skills groups, CV writing support, tai chi, creative writing, drumming, crafting, chess, and other wellbeing workshops. All groups and activities are free. The EDGE also operates a second branch in Fulbourn, serving homemade food alongside its recovery programmes.
