The McPin Foundation is a London-based mental health research charity founded in 2013, on a mission to transform mental health research through lived experience. Based in London but working internationally, McPin delivers high-quality collaborative research, evaluates mental health services, and supports other organisations in embedding lived experience into their research. It has worked with major research programmes across England, deploying peer researchers and co-production methods. McPin has grown from a small team to a network of staff, collaborators, and partners, and is recognised internationally as a leader in participatory mental health research methodology.
