They embrace the "Family Reflex," involving family members and close ones as integral partners in mental health care 🧠 Your Role as Family Experience Expert As a Family Experience Expert within the Mobile Psychiatric Crisis Team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients and their families during critical times. The team operates in the South-East Antwerp region, offering intensive outpatient crisis care to adults in their home environment for up to six weeks. The primary goal is to stabilize crises and either prevent or shorten hospital admissions 🧠 Key responsibilities include - Providing crisis and urgent support to clients with psychiatric vulnerabilities in their home environment - Engaging with clients’ networks, including family, during both outpatient and inpatient care phases - Collaborating within an interdisciplinary team and coordinating with residential units and external care partners (e.g., caregivers, GPs, CAW, ambulatory centers) to ensure tailored and continuous care for clients - Shaping and promoting the role of family experience expertise as a new and integral part of our service - Acting as a bridge to leverage your experiential knowledge in facilitating recovery for clients and their families 🧠 Who You Are - Holds a Bachelor’s degree in a human sciences field or a relevant diploma in experiential expertise with a focus on family experience expertise - Comfortable working in an outreach capacity using public transport or a bicycle - Skilled at working with families and close ones of clients in complex social contexts - Has empathy and understanding of individuals with psychological vulnerabilities and their loved ones - Thrives in an interdisciplinary team setting while being capable of working independently and making decisions when needed - Embodies Multiversum’s core values: being engaged, connected, skilled, and dynamic in your work If you don’t meet all these criteria but are eager to grow into this role, they would still love to hear from you!
