As a peer support worker, you use your personal experience with mental health challenges to help clients in their recovery journey. You play an essential role in promoting recovery-oriented care — supporting both clients and your care team. Your unique perspective helps shape care that genuinely fits the needs of each person. You will work within the clinics and/or FACT teams at GGZ inGeest, supporting adults (18–65) and older adults (65+) with severe or acute psychiatric conditions. Treatment focuses on recovery, self-reliance, and lifestyle improvement, while also addressing broader life domains such as housing, work, meaning, and social connections. Collaboration and co-creation are key — both with clients and within the multidisciplinary team. Als ervaringsdeskundige zet je jouw persoonlijke ervaring met psychische kwetsbaarheid in om cliënten te ondersteunen in hun herstelproces. Je speelt een essentiële rol in het bevorderen van herstelgerichte zorg — zowel voor cliënten als binnen het zorgteam. Jouw unieke perspectief helpt om de zorg beter af te stemmen op de behoeften van de cliënt. Je werkt binnen de klinieken en/of FACT-teams van GGZ inGeest, waar volwassenen (18–65 jaar) en ouderen (65+) met ernstige of acute psychiatrische problematiek worden behandeld. De behandeling richt zich op herstel, zelfredzaamheid en leefstijlverbetering – met aandacht voor verschillende levensgebieden zoals wonen, werk, zingeving en sociale contacten.
